Crazy Cajun Shrimp

Ingredients

    2 Tbs butter

    12 ounces of shrimp (shelled, deveined, dried using a paper towel)

    Salt and Pepper to taste

    1 small minced onion

    1 crushed garlic clove

    1 Tbs white wine vinegar

    ½ cup heavy cream

    1 tsp Cajun seasoning

    Hint of red pepper flakes

    1 Tbs parsley

Directions

1.       Preheat a large skillet over medium high heat, add one tablespoon of butter. When butter is melted and stops bubbling add shrimp to pan.

2.       Allow shrimp to cook until slightly brown.

3.       Once shrimp is browned, remove from pan and plate.

4.       Add second tablespoon of butter to the pan with onions and cook until the onions are translucent.

5.       Add garlic and stir repeatedly for 1 minute.

6.       Add in white wine vinegar and cook until vinegar is almost evaporated, generally 1-2 minutes.

7.       Add cream, Cajun seasoning, red pepper, and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring continuously.

8.       When mixture comes to a simmer, turn heat to low, stirring occasionally.

9.       Add shrimp to the mixture and stir until ship is completely covered.

10.   Removed from heat and serve immediately.
