Naturally Sweet: Vegan Banana Oatmeal Breakfast Bites
Ingredients
2 ripe bananas
1/3 cup almond butter
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk
2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave nectar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup whole wheat flour or almond flour
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 cup quick oats
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth. Mix in the almond butter, applesauce, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla.
- In a medium bowl, mix the flour, oats, and cinnamon. Pour the dry ingredients into the large bowl, and mix together.
- Drop spoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet, and bake for 12 minutes or until slightly brown
