Naturally Sweet: Vegan Banana Oatmeal Breakfast Bites

Ingredients

    2 ripe bananas
    1/3 cup almond butter
    1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
    2 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk
    2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave nectar
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/4 cup whole wheat flour or almond flour
    1 1/2 cups rolled oats
    1 cup quick oats
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth. Mix in the almond butter, applesauce, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix the flour, oats, and cinnamon. Pour the dry ingredients into the large bowl, and mix together.
  4. Drop spoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet, and bake for 12 minutes or until slightly brown
