Dr. Sherard Chiu is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear and Radiological Engineering. He received his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University Of Alabama School Of Medicine in 2011 and completed his residency in General Surgery at Atlanta Medical Center in 2016, where he was Chief Resident.
Dr. Chiu is currently continuing his training in an advanced fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), Bariatric Surgery and Robotic Surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
His outside interests include snowboarding, wakeboarding, climbing and billiards.
