Amber Evans graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She worked at Methodist Medical Center as a Registered Nurse on a telemetry unit caring for cardiac, dialysis and other various medical-surgical patients. She later went to work at the Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center at which time she decided to go back to school to obtain her Masters degree. She graduated from Carson Newman University (formerly Carson Newman College) with a Masters of Science in Nursing and obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification in 2012. She continued working at the Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center where she cared for various allergic diseases, asthma, COPD and immune deficient patients. She joined University Surgeons Associates in 2016.
Amber has been married to her husband, Jamie, since 2011 and they have a daughter who was born in 2013 and a son born in 2017. She enjoys working out, volunteering in the children’s ministry at her church, spending time with her family and friends, watching Braves baseball and cheering on the Vols.
