Dr. Corey Campbell is a graduate of Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science engineering. He received his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2008. He completed his residency in general surgery at Bowman Gray School of Medicine/Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in 2015. While at Bowman Gray, he was the Department of General Surgery Bradshaw Research Fellow. His research interests included studies of negative pressure wound dressing in novel tissues.
Dr. Campbell is currently continuing his training in an advanced fellowship in minimally invasive surgery, bariatric surgery and robotics surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons.
His outside interests include running, soccer and working with computers and technology.
